Complete blood count
A complete blood count is a blood test. It's used to look at overall health and find a wide range of conditions, including anemia, infection and leukemia. The CBC test identifies and counts the 7 types of cells found in the blood, red blood cell, neutrophil, eosinophil, basophil, lymphocyte, monocyte, and platelets. Each of these blood components serve its purpose, so abnormalities in any of these components can lead to serious complications.
